FINLAY TO MAKE UK RETURN THIS OCTOBER!
Varsity Pro Wrestling is excited to announce the addition of world-renowned wrestler and former WWE superstar Finlay to VPWs October tour.
The Irish-born Finlay will be making his wrestling return to the UK exclusively for VPW, appearing at the Victoria Hall in Stoke on the 25th October, the Vyne College at Basingstoke on the 26th October and will round out the tour on October 27th at the Portsmouth Guildhall.
The former WWE US Champion, a mainstay on ITVs ?World of Sport? during the 80s and 90s, is no doubt looking forward to revisiting arenas such as the Victoria Hall and being able to help VPW bring the UK wrestling scene back to prominence ? an announcement about a VPW television show will be made over the next week.
Finlay will be the latest in a string of superstars to have appeared for the UKs premier sports entertainment promotion, who count Billy Gunn, D-Lo Brown, Chris Masters and Bob Holly amongst the plethora of talent brought in front of the loyal VPW fanbase.
Also featured on the upcoming shows will be the recently crowned VPW Champion, the former WWE and TNA star Daivari, as well as the very best of British wrestling talent, including ?Mr Moonsault? Jake McCluskey, lucha sensation Ikarus, Rob Holte, Nathan McKenzie and the ?Prime Mountain of Muscle? Leon Shah.
